Ultimate Conveyance Improvement Project
Bid and Award
Harris County Commissioners Court authorized the award of a $9.8 million construction contract to to complete the final phase of the Vogel Creek Conveyance Improvement Project.
It is expected that construction will take 20 to 24 months, weather permitting.
Construction is expected to begin mid May 2006 and is expected to take 20 to 24 months to complete, weather permitting. More details will be shared at an upcoming Homeowner Association/Civic Club Presidents Meeting and an Open House for residents.
Utility Adjustment Work
Utility Status:
- SBC: 95% complete
- CenterPoint Electric: 33% complete
- CenterPoint Gas: 80% complete
- Time Warner Cable: 30% complete
Right-of-Way
The County Attorneys office is continuing negotiations on the settlement agreement with the Inwood Forest Golf Course concerning the value of the easements acquired for this project.
We remain optimistic in working with the owners to finalize the agreement.
