Ultimate Conveyance Improvement Project - Final Phase Contract Awarded
On March 21, 2006, Harris County Commissioners Court authorized the Harris County Flood Control District to award a $9,776,271 million construction contract to Lecon, Inc. to complete the final phase of the Vogel Creek Conveyance Improvements.
Construction is expected to begin in late May 2006 and will consist of further widening and deepening of Vogel Creek from White Oak Bayou to Arncliffe Drive. It is expected that construction will take 30 months, weather permitting.
