ABOUT THE PROJECT:
• This is the fifth and final batch of the major maintenance projects along Cypress Creek and its tributaries.
• Includes two packages:
o Senger Stormwater Detention Basin Phase 1 and Channel Rehabilitation at IH-45
o Channel Rehabilitation at Kuykendahl and the Cypress Hill Stormwater Detention Basin
• Aims to stabilize the channel and help minimize erosion from occurring in the future with the benefit of flood risk reduction along the main stem of Cypress Creek.
