ABOUT THE PROJECT:
- The proposed project will widen the existing channel along the east bank of Halls Bayou from downstream of Hopper Road to just upstream of Pinewood Village Park.
- The project may also consist of a stormwater detention basin to provide mitigation for the channel conveyance improvements.
- Once constructed, stormwater conveyance along Halls Bayou is expected improve and the area of inundation is expected to be reduced by more than 500 acres.
