Hurricane season begins June 1! 

Major hurricanes are classified as categories 3, 4 or 5, with winds reaching 111 mph or higher. The historical 30-year average for named storms is 12.

With the Harris County Flood Control District’s Hurricane Tracker, you can track a current storm, view evacuation routes and contraflow maps, view live satellite feeds, and much more – from any mobile device. This vital information will help you get and stay prepared!
