C-01 Halls Bayou Tributary P118-26-00

and Stormwater Detention Basins P518-26-01 and P518-26-02

Project Description

This project involves channel conveyance improvements on Tributary P118-26-00, with connections to and final excavation of Stormwater Detention Basins P518-26-01 and P518-26-02 near Helms Road.

Stormwater detention basins reduce flooding risks and damages during heavy rain events by safely storing excess stormwater and slowly releasing it back to the bayou when the threat of flooding has passed.
