What was done to the Greenbriar Dr Bridge?

The bridge was demolished and replaced with a higher, longer, and wider bridge. This increased the capacity of the channel, allowing for more flood waters to flow throughout Brays Bayou. The new bridge also includes a through lane in each direction, a left turn lane, a U-turn lane, and an expanded 10-foot sidewalk. Construction began mid-summer of 2019 and took one year to complete.
