PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

Investigations to develop and implement a masterplan for reducing the risk of flooding and regional infrastructure development in the lower end of the Little Cypress Creek watershed. Projects could include, but not limited to, detention, sediment control, vegetation management, and other flood risk management projects.

Recent Actions

May 14, 2019 – Harris County Commissioners Court approved a $1.59 million agreement with an engineering firm for preliminary engineering in support of a project from the confluence of Cypress Creek and Little Cypress Creek to Stablegate Subdivision 

January 8, 2019 – Harris County Commissioners Court authorized negotiations with an engineering firm for final design of this project
