Rainfall amounts are currently expected to be between 2-4 inches across Harris County with potentially higher totals should the track shift further westward. Storm surge flooding of 2-4 feet above normal dry ground is expected in coastal sections of southeast Harris County. These values would be increased significantly if the track shifts further westward.
The Flood Control District encourages residents to create an account and sign up for rainfall and water level alerts at fwsalerts.org. FWS Alerts allow residents to customize which sensors they receive alerts from and can choose to receive alerts via text, email, or both.
