March 9, 2021 – Harris County Commissioners Court authorized $200,000 for environmental and other professional services in support of this project.

February 9, 2021 - Harris County Commissioners authorized the acceptance of a real estate donation for a tract of land in support of this project.

February 9, 2021 - Harris County Commissioners authorized the acquisition of a tract of land as part of this project.

November 10, 2020 - Harris County Commissioners Court authorized the acquisition of one tract in support of this project.

September 29, 2020 – Harris County Commissioners Court authorized the acquisition of eleven tracts of land for this project.

June 30, 2020 - Harris County Commissioners Court authorized the purchase of a tract of land in support of this project.

October 23, 2018 – Harris County Commissioners Court authorized and initiated this project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

Right of way acquisition along Cypress Creek for project support, to preserve channel conveyance and / or restore natural floodplains in areas subject to frequent flooding.
