VIRTUAL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MEETING FOR THE BROOKGLEN STORMWATER DETENTION BASIN

The Harris County Flood Control District will hold a virtual community meetingregarding the proposed Brookglen Stormwater Detention Basin, B512-02-00, on Thursday, October 15, 2020, from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this meetingis to inform residents about the status of the project to be designed and built in the Brookglen area of La Porte and share information about the preliminary location of the proposed Brookglen Stormwater Detention Basin.

Community engagement is an important component of the Flood Control District’s work, and we invite your participation in this and other projects across the county. This meeting is an opportunity for the Flood Control District to provide information to nearby and interested community members. MEETING TIME:  6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

In keeping with current public health recommendations on social distancing, this will be a VIRTUAL community meeting. You can attend this meeting online through your internet-connected device, or by phone.

The meeting will begin with a brief presentation to share project updates, followed by a moderated Q&A session with Flood Control District team members. Residents will be able to submit questions and comments throughout the presentation. Any comments not addressed during the Q&A session will receive a response after the event.
