Construction Update for Drainage Repairs in the Armand Bayou Watershed

In an effort to keep you informed about the Harris County Flood Control District’s continuing maintenance in the Armand Bayou watershed, we want to update you of a construction project.

Project Description
In Fall 2021, the Flood Control District will begin construction in your area along the following HCFCD Unit Numbers:

  • B100-00-00-X011 in Pasadena - This project will make channel spot repairs along HCFCD Unit# B100-00-00 for approx. 150 feet near Village Grove East Subdivision. Construction equipment will access the project via Red Bluff Road and along the Village Grove East Detention Basin.
  • B106-00-00-X011 in La Porte  - This project will make channel bank repairs along HCFCD Unit# B106-00-00 upstream of Fairmont Parkway for 1,900 feet. Construction equipment will access the project at Fairmont Parkway and Rusted Rock Road.
  • B112-00-00-X009 in Deer Park – This project will make concrete channel repair along HCFCD Unit# B112-00-00 for 100 feet between Meadow Brook Drive and Holly Lane near the Enclave at East Meadow subdivision.  Construction equipment will access the project at Meadow Brook Drive and Holly Lane.
  • B112-00-00-X010 in La Porte – This project will complete channel rehabilitation for 1,200 feet upstream and downstream of HCFCD Unit# B112-00-00 at Venture Lane.  Construction equipment will access the project at Venture Lane.
