VIRTUAL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MEETING FOR THE ADDICKS RESERVOIR WATERSHED CHANNEL DE-SILT AND REPAIR PROGRAM

This project will be funded with bonds approved by Harris County voters on August 25, 2018.

The Harris County Flood Control District will hold a virtual Community Engagement Meeting for the Addicks Reservoir Watershed Channel De-silt and Repair Program. The purpose of this meeting is to inform residents about the status of the Addicks Reservoir Watershed Channel De-silt and Repair Program and share project information.

The Addicks Reservoir Watershed Channel De-silt and Repair Program focuses on the rehabilitation of channels upstream of the Addicks Reservoir to restore them to their original design capacity and repair channels where erosion and slope failures have occurred. This project will be funded with bonds approved by Harris County voters on August 25, 2018. Community engagement is an important component of the Bond Program, and we invite your participation as the program is implemented.

The meeting will begin with a brief presentation to share project updates, followed by a moderated Q&A session with Flood Control District team members. Residents will be able to submit questions and comments throughout the presentation.
