About this Project
The Kluge Stormwater Detention Basin Phase 3 project is expanding the overall stormwater detention basin’s footprint with a third compartment that will provide an additional 210 acre-feet of stormwater storage capacity — that is roughly the equivalent of 210 football fields covered in one foot of water.
A stormwater detention basin temporarily holds stormwater during heavy rain events to help reduce the risk of flooding in the area.
