Construction Activities on the Westador Stormwater Detention Basin Project Begin Soon

Construction activities include contractor mobilization, initial site preparation, and other related work.

About this Project
The Westador Stormwater Detention Basin is designed to hold approximately 207 acre-feet of stormwater — that is roughly the equivalent of 207 football fields covered in one foot of water.

A stormwater detention basin temporarily holds stormwater during heavy rain events. By storing excess stormwater, the detention basin helps reduce the risk of flooding in the area.
