Virtual Community Engagement Meeting for the Vince Bayou Drainage Improvements Project

The Harris County Flood Control District will hold a virtual Community Engagement Meeting for the Vince Bayou Drainage Improvements Project located in the Vince Bayou watershed. The purpose of this meeting is to inform residents about the project’s status, share project information, and gather important community input on this effort.

The Vince Bayou Drainage Improvements project aims to reduce the impact of flooding throughout the watershed through what are expected to be multiple channel conveyance improvement and stormwater detention basin projects along the main stem of Vince Bayou, as recommended by the Vince Bayou Watershed Planning Study. This project is funded through the 2018 Bond Program, which was approved by Harris County voters on August 25, 2018. Community engagement is a foundational component of the Bond Program, and we invite your participation and input as projects are implemented.
